Dispensing with the Preliminaries.

More or less a get-to-know you post for my first one ever.

I am inspired.

I am inspired by Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers and Ian O’neil.  They make this look easy.  And in that vein, I am going to fold into a member of the blogging public.

This isn’t going to be a soap box for me to yell my own philosophies at people.

This isn’t a gossip rag.

This is a science blog.

Sometimes there will be math.

Sometimes there will be politics.

I am a will-be-wanna-be scientists with all the internet at my disposal (And Sagan’s Baloney-Detection Kite).

My study of focus is in physics, but I have a healthy interest in evolutionary biology, regardless of my incredibly informal training in it.

I am an atheist, just to get that out of the way.

Some people would call me a “New Atheist”

Some people would call me a “Fundamentalist Atheist”

That’s all there is about that.

I will probably take a long time to get this blog up and running.  I may even abandon it for weeks at a time, I don’t even expect anyone to read it.

It’s practice.
